01 / Producer biography
Avie Fresh.
The producer.
Avie Fresh is a Brooklyn-rooted producer and musician working at the intersection of original instrumentation, sampling, and independent hip-hop. Also known as MC Avatar the Articulate, he approaches production with an ear for both the sound of a record and the voice at its center.
His work began with kitchen MIDI sessions and basement four-track recordings. A longstanding partnership with ONE-TAKE helped shape It Was Bitten, their reinterpretation of Nas’s It Was Written. His production also carries Avatar’s latest single, “Ghost Notes.”
Through AViEFRESH, he is developing further self-produced projects that bring together instruments, samples, and vocals. For production inquiries and creative collaborations, contact aviefresh@gmail.com.
